I-90, portion of I-29 reopen in S.D.
South Dakota Department of Transportation officials have announced that Interstate 90 is now open and Interstate 29 between Sisseton and Watertown is open.
South Dakota Department of Transportation officials have announced that Interstate 90 is now open and Interstate 29 between Sisseton and Watertown is open. I-29 between Watertown and Sioux Falls is expected to remain closed until weather conditions improve and crews are able to open the roadway on Monday morning. South Dakota officials ask the traveling public to check road conditions that have been posted to their SD website: www.safetravelusa.com/sd/.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation lifted the travel alert statewide for all regions throughout North Dakota. Motorists should be aware that there may be areas of scattered ice and snow conditions on state roadways.
