Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Committee to meet Wednesday
The North Dakota Department of Human Services’ Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Committee will meet from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday by means of eight video conference sites in North Dakota. One site is in Jamestown. The committee meets quarterly to advise the department on issues related to meeting the needs of individuals with traumatic brain injuries and their families.
The North Dakota Department of Human Services’ Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Committee will meet from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday by means of eight video conference sites in North Dakota. One site is in Jamestown.
The committee meets quarterly to advise the department on issues related to meeting the needs of individuals with traumatic brain injuries and their families.
The public is invited to participate in the meeting at the Jamestown location, South Central Human Service Center, 520 Third St. NW, conference room 124-126.
Meeting agenda items include reports from the Head Injury Association of North Dakota; Community Options for Residential and Employment Services, Inc. report on the pre-vocational skills services program; HIT, Inc. report on the social and recreational services program; Department of Human Services’ Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Division report on traumatic brain injury efforts; and a summary report on a pediatric traumatic brain injury survey from the N.D.
