Prairie Pals 4-H club holds various activities
Prairie Pals 4-H club’s November meeting was called to order by Vice President Mikaela Cofield. New members were introduced and welcomed, with regular business being conducted. Brett and Brady Wendel gave a demonstration on how to make a duck call out of a shotgun shell.
Prairie Pals 4-H club’s November meeting was called to order by Vice President Mikaela Cofield. New members were introduced and welcomed, with regular business being conducted. Brett and Brady Wendel gave a demonstration on how to make a duck call out of a shotgun shell.
The host family was Jim and Marcia Cofield. The activities included were archery, clay snowmen, Christmas trees, rabbits, reindeer and a nativity scene. Prairie Pals approved becoming a Healthy North Dakota 4-H Club. The activity directors are Lane Entiz and Isaac Huber; the activity of participants was a basketball game.
During the October meeting, members had a Halloween party and carved pumpkins for Ave Maria Village.
Members also elected the following officers: President Wesley Wendel, Vice President Mikaela Cofield, Secretary Sara Hatlewick, Treasurer Clay Hatlewick and Pledge Leader Brock Wendel. The host family for October was Don and Ann Osborn.
Demonstrations were given by Sara Hatlewick using a bow and Mikaela Cofield on making candy on sticks.
