It has been a busy fall for the Lions in Jamestown and December is no different. The Lions’ blood drive for United Blood Services is at North Dakota Farmers Union State Headquarters in Jamestown on Dec. 11-12. In addition, Lions will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army with its main effort on Dec. 19.

Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger provided the main program. Edinger gave an overview of his first year as Jamestown police chief and some of the changes that have and will be taking place in the department.

Several Lions from the Medina Lions Club attended the meeting. A Lions Zone meeting followed the regular meeting.

The Lions of Jamestown meet at 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at Buffalo City Rotisserie Grill. Visiting Lions and guests are always welcome.
