Jensen signs with Jimmie women

Stephanie Jensen of Redwood Falls, Minn., has signed with the Jimmie women’s basketball team.

Jensen, a five-foot-five guard, is a Southwest Conference honorable mention selection for Redwood Valley High School.

“We are excited that Stephanie has decided to join the Jimmie family,” said JC women’s basketball coach Greg Ulland says. “She is going to be a nice addition to the team with her ability to shoot the 3 and handle the ball. As with all guards coming into the program, it is vital to have the 3 range, and that is something she definitely possesses. Stephanie is a high character student athlete and another great addition to JC.”

Jensen also earned all-conference honors in volleyball and softball. She has been active in National Honor Society, BPA and band.

The daughter of Michael and Lisa Jensen, she plans to major in radiologic technology at JC.
