Jamestown College knocked off Minot State Tuesday night at the Dome.

The Jimmies continued the struggles of their former coach as Matt Murken’s Beavers dropped to 1-6 on the season.

The game was an exhibition for the Jimmies, but was still a major feather in the cap for Jamestown College, beating an NCAA Division II team and member of the widely-respected NSIC.

Mark Hoge poured in 26 points to lead the Jimmies (7-6), while Davon Thomas added 16.

Adam Randall, a former Mr. Baskeball award winner from Kidder County, had nine points off the bench for Minot State.

Jamestown College plays at Dickinson State on Saturday.
