SRWD vehicles taken for joyride

A pair of vehicles owned by Stutsman Rural Water District was taken on a joyride sometime late Monday or early Tuesday, according to Detective Jason Falk, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday about 7 miles southwest of Kensal, N.D.
The suspect or suspects removed a payloader from a semi-truck trailer and drove both vehicles around in the immediate surrounding area.
Falk said the semi got stuck in a ditch and the suspect or suspects used the payloader to remove it from the ditch.
No damage was reported.
The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 252-9000.
