Also joining the JC roster is Brequan Tucker of Joliet, Ill. He joins his brother, Breshion, with the Jimmies. Brequan spent last season playing for St. Francis (Ind.), which defeated the Jimmies in the national tournament and went on to the Elite 8. Tucker played in 10 games. He averaged 14.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and four assists per game as a freshman at Joliet High School. He will redshirt this season, but have three seasons remaining with the Jimmies.

Interestingly, Breshion and Brequan are part of triplet brothers. Brequan is 6-foot-1. Breshion is the Jimmies’ starting point guard and is averaging 7.5 points, 3.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.

“We are excited that Colt and Brequan have decided to join the Jimmie family,” said JC men’s basketball coach Justin Wieck. “They will bring depth to our program, as well as an increased level of competition each day in practice.
