Raiders win Barnes tourney

Jordan Haseleu poured in 20 points as Maple Valley nipped Valley City 47-46 in the championship game of the Barnes County Tournament in the Bubble Saturday.
James Richman added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the tightly played contest. Both teams scored 17 firstquarter points, but offense was tough to find from there.
Chase Carpenter paced the Hi-Liners with 18 points. Mason Denholm added 13.
LaMoure-Litchville-Marion outscored Milnor 23-16 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 61-51 win in the third-place game.
Brady Thielges had 16 points to lead the Loboes while Jared Meiklejohn and Anthony Olson chipped in with 14 points apiece.
Wyatt Mund topped the Bison with 15 points.
Enderlin held Griggs County Central to five points in the second quarter and eight in the fourth to win the fifth-place game 52-37.
Coltin Huus and Thomas Lindgren had 10 each for the Eagles.
Kris Wathne carried the Cougars with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page got 21 points from Austin Archer and 17 more from Austin Bring in a 62-39 win over Barnes County North for seventh. Brad Clemens pumped in 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Bison.
