Holiday garbage pickup announced

Due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, there will be no garbage pickup on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, there will be no garbage pickup on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

On each of those weeks, Tuesday’s route will be picked up on Wednesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s routes will be picked up on Thursday with normal garbage pickup each Friday.

The city baling facility will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Regular garbage pickup routes will resume at 7 a.m. on each Wednesday following the holidays.

The baling facility will be open Saturdays, Dec. 22 and Dec. 29.

The baling facility will close at 11:30 a.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.
