Packers’ Grooters signs with Jimmies

Brooke Grooters of West Fargo has signed with the Jimmie women’s track and cross country programs.

Grooters is a 3-time all-conference runner and ran the lead leg in the Packers’ state champion 3200 relay team at the state meet last season. She also ran on the sixth-place 1600 relay team and qualified in the 3200 meters.

“Brooke has had a lot of success at West Fargo High School in one of the top track and cross country programs in North Dakota,” JC coach Jim Clark said. “Her running talent and attitude will make any team better. I certainly look forward to working with Brooke at Jamestown College in both cross country and track and field.”

She is the daughter of Greg and Robin Grooters. She plans to study nursing at JC.
