Bebo signs with JC women

Makenzie Bebo of St. Michael, Minn., has signed with the Jimmie women’s basketball team.

Bebo, a five-foot-six guard, is currently averaging 11 points per game and is shooting over 40 percent from 3-point range for St. Michael-Albertville. Last season she helped SMA to a 22-8 record and a state tournament appearance. They’re off to a 5-0 start this season.

“Makenzie is an exciting addition to the program. She is an excellent defender with great 3-point range,” said JC coach Greg Ulland. “Watching her play quite a bit this summer, I truly believe Jamestown College is a perfect fit for her.

“We look forward to welcoming Makenzie to the Jimmie family next fall.”

She is the daughter of Jeff and Sandy Bebo.
