Daffodil Days fundraiser set
The 2013 American Cancer Society Daffodil Days will soon be here. The Jamestown High School National Honor Society, under the supervision of Tammy Mullowney, along with Community Representatives Bill and Nellie Degen and Jim and Linda Bender will be hosts to the sales in Stutsman County. Pre-sale orders will last from Jan. 7 to Feb. 15 with the fresh, cut daffodils being delivered the week of March 18.

The Jamestown High School National Honor Society, under the supervision of Tammy Mullowney, along with Community Representatives Bill and Nellie Degen and Jim and Linda Bender will be hosts to the sales in Stutsman County. Pre-sale orders will last from Jan. 7 to Feb. 15 with the fresh, cut daffodils being delivered the week of March 18.
A bunch of 10 daffodils cost $10; a bunch and a vase cost $15; three bunches cost $25; a commemorative Boyd Bear and bunch for $25; or a “Gift of Hope for a Cancer Patient” for $25. A portion of the money raised by past Daffodil Days in Stutsman County is being used to support the Look Good … Feel Better, Reach to Recovery, Patient Lodging Program, and Transportation Assistance programs in this area. The money raised locally is also helping to fund the society’s cancer resource centers.
