N.D. inauguration set for Jan. 11
North Dakotans are invited to attend the Governor’s Inaugural Celebration on Jan. 11 at the Civic Center in Bismarck.
North Dakotans are invited to attend the Governor’s Inaugural Celebration on Jan. 11 at the Civic Center in Bismarck.
The celebration theme is “Creating our Future, Together,” and will highlight the many ways that North Dakotans have and will work together to enhance the state’s economy, its education system and quality of life.
The event is free and open to the public. Formal attire is optional.
The Civic Center is located at 315 Fifth Street, Bismarck, and the celebration is from 6 p.m. to midnight.
A program featuring talent from across North Dakota, a Grand March of statewide elected officials, and a dance will all be part of the evening’s activities. More information will follow.
The Governor’s Inaugural Celebration is hosted by the Citizens Inaugural Committee, a volunteer organization. The event is funded by individual and corporate donations from across the state.
