Lange collects six first-place finishes

Jamestown youth swimmer Cody Lange earned six first-place finishes at meets Dec. 15-16.

At the Mandan Marlins Winter on Saturday, Meet Lange won the 100 individual medley (1:14.57), 100 backstroke (1:13.00) and 200 freestyle (2:24.21). He was also second in the 100 breaststroke (1:24.45).

On Sunday at the Bismarck Aquastorm Meet, Lange posted winning times in the 100 IM (1:12.66), 100 free (1:05.07) and 200 backstroke (2:35.32) to go along with a runner-up effort in the 50 breaststroke (36.81).

Lange currently has the top times in the state in the 200 free, 500 free, 50 backstroke, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 50 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke.

Lange will compete in a meet in Bismarck Jan. 18-20.
