FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Fargo police have arrested a suspect in the robbery of a bank on the city's south side.

The Forum reports that 54-year-old Timothy Patrick McKenna of Fargo was arrested by police at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

McKenna is awaiting charges for robbery, after he allegedly entered Gate City Bank on Monday, indicated he had a gun and demanded cash.

Ternes says some of the stolen money has been recovered, but he did not specify how much, adding only that “a substantial amount” was taken from the bank.
