Stilwell wins vault as Jays take invite

Jenna Stilwell provided the Jamestown High School gymnastics team with an individual title on Thursday.
The sophomore scored a 9.075 on the vault to tie for the title with Madie Uglem of Fargo. She also did well in her other events, leading the Blue Jays to a meet-winning score of 135.450, ahead of runner-up Moorhead, Minn., which posted a 133.375.
Stilwell finished sixth in the floor exercise, the beam and the all-around. She scored an 8.575 on the floor, while posting an 8.6 on the beam. Her all-around score was 33.925.
