MINOT (AP) — Authorities have arrested a woman on allegations she repeatedly called in bomb threats to the Minot Air Force Base.

U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon said the woman has been arrested in California.

The criminal complaint in the case said the woman made several bomb threats to the base, including one Thursday at the base’s Head Start Program. That call prompted several schools to be locked down and was one of the reasons the superintendent of Minot Public Schools cancelled classed Friday.

The complaint states that the woman is an ex-girlfriend of one of the airmen at the base.
