Dec. 9: 10:50 p.m., fire department responded to 1706 Western Park Village, single family dwelling, to a report of smoke coming from an electrical receptacle. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was found. Cause: electrical receptacle malfunction. No firefighter injuries. Time out: 45 minutes.
Dec. 10: 7:01 A.M., ready squad responded to 212 Third St. NE, Jamestown Civic Center, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was found. Cause: dust in detector. Fire alarm was reset. Time out: 1 hour, 20 minutes.
Dec. 10: 12:46 p.m., ready squad responded to 424 1/2 Second Ave. SW, multi-family dwelling, to investigate spark coming from electrical receptacle. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire; none was found. Cause: electrical receptacle malfunction. Time out: 15 minutes.
