Man accused of sending threatening letter to judge

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A man is accused of threatening to kill a federal judge in North Dakota.

Carlos Kidd is charged with mailing threatening communications. Authorities say he mailed a letter from Texas to U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland in Bismarck.

The incident happened in October 2010. No further details were available.

Arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 11.
