Jeff Wiedenmeyer gave the Christmas message. There was also a surprise visit by the Jamestown High School Jazz Singers. They sang several Christmas songs. After that an auction took place auctioning four items by taking dollar by dollar from people until it reached the price of the auction item. The money went to the Eliminate project.
Sandy Franke led the meeting with 23 members attending. Spouses were invited to the Christmas Celebration and those in attendance were Vivian Welsh, Marlene Axtman, Ruth Urdahl, Blaine Bergstedt, Carl Franke, Tamara Wiedemeyer and Mark Jacobson. Three Key Club members also attended: Kyle Gee, Brianna Hart and Mackenzie Hinson. Norm Winkleman collected Happy Dollars for the Salvation Army.
There will be no meeting on Dec. 24 and there will be a roundtable meeting at The Depot on Dec. 31. Charles Krebs will introduce Ritchie Wolf to speak on the electric line project in Jamestown at the Jan. 7 noon luncheon at the Lantern Room.
Anyone interested in becoming a member of Kiwanis is encouraged to attend the meeting.
