Downtown snow removal to start at 11 p.m. Thursday

City crews are focusing on keeping emergency routes clear of snow today. They will start removing snow in the downtown Jamestown area at 11 p.m. Thursday and continue during the night.

Downtown merchants and all schools are asked to have their sidewalks shoveled by 9 p.m. before the blades begin the downtown snow removal program.

This schedule is contingent upon changing weather conditions and snow accumulation totals.
