FUMC offers January classes

In January, First United Methodist Church will offer two classes in Jamestown.

Beginning Jan. 6, a study of Adam Hamilton’s “Christianity’s Family Tree” will meet for eight weeks on Sundays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. This free class is a video-based study of the similarities and differences of eight Christian denominations. (A book is available for $12.99).

Beginning Jan. 20 Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University” will meet for nine weeks Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Cost for the participant kit is $95 per family unit. All events are at First United Methodist Church, which is located downtown between the middle school and Alfred Dickey Library.
