Jimmie men play in Phoenix Sunday

The Jamestown College men’s basketball team gets back on the court after a 15-day stretch in between games.

The 7-7 Jimmies play back-to-back games in Phoenix against Arizona Christian University on Sunday and Monday at 4:30 p.m. each day.

The Jimmies have not played since losing at Dickinson State on Dec. 15. Prior to that they were 3-1 in their previous four games, including a win over NCAA Division II Minot State at the Dome. The only loss in that span was to seventh-ranked William Penn of Iowa.

As for the Jimmie women, their game Friday night against Montana-Western at the Las Vegas Shootout did not start until 9:30 p.m. Results were not available at press time. Tonight’s game against Montana Tech also does not start until 9:30. A recap of each game will be published in Monday’s edition of the Sun.
