The Jamestown Sun hands out these bravos and a buffalo chip this week:
* Bravo to the 26 acts effort happening nationwide and locally in Jamestown to honor the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting with random acts of kindness.
* Bravo to all acts of charity by area residents this holiday season, whether done with money, food, labor or other methods of giving.
* Buffalo chip to the newest money-wiring scams spotted in the area that target Internet and computer users.
* Bravo to Greg Allen, Jamestown Public School Board member, who was elected president of the North Dakota School Boards Association recently.
* Bravo to Angie Kamin of Fargo and all the people who helped her replace the service medals and badges her father earned during his 40 years of U.S. military service. Arlin Melgaard of Bemidji, Minn., lost the reminders of his service in a burglary two years ago.
