Ave Maria Village honors staff service

Ave Maria Village of Jamestown, a member facility of Sisters of Mary of the Presentation Long Term Care, celebrated at its 2012 Service Awards Banquet/Christmas party at the Gladstone Inn & Suites on Dec. 14.

The following employees were honored for their years of dedication and service at Ave Maria Village. Tim Burchill, administrator, along with the respective department managers, presented the awards.

Thirty-five: Candace Otto, food services supervisor

Twenty-five years: Alma Lulay, medical records, and Sandra Sodawasser, CNA

Ten years: Ethel Bender, food services; Linda Johnson, activities; Joyce Wilkinson, Heritage Centre LPN; and Sandra Burns, Heritage Centre universal assistant

Five years: Tim Burchill, administrator; Debra Koebernick, RN/nursing services administration; Denise Hillstrom and Kimberly Ryan, both LPNs; Robyn Nething, Maria Rockne, MeLisa Roaldson, Gary Koebernick, Eugenia Wahl, Pamela Boomgaarden, all CNAs; Rachel Fergus, food services; and Robin Eberl, Heritage Centre activities

Special guests included Sister Suzanne Stahl, Sister Carol Jean Kuntz and Sister Rose Therese Sevigny of Maryvale convent, Valley City. They represented the leadership of the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation, who sponsor all SMP Long Term Care facilities. Sister Suzanne Stahl presented Burchill, administrator, with a five-year award.
