Ament elected to CIFA board
DeAnn Ament, North Dakota Public Finance Authority executive director, was elected to a two-year term on the board of directors of the Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities at the annual meeting in New Orleans in November.
DeAnn Ament, North Dakota Public Finance Authority executive director, was elected to a two-year term on the board of directors of the Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities at the annual meeting in New Orleans in November.
Ament will represent Region 8, which encompasses the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. Ament resides in Jamestown with her husband and three children.
The Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities is the national organization of state, regional, and local entities working for environmental infrastructure funding. The North Dakota Public Finance Authority makes loans to political subdivisions by issuing bonds and using the proceeds to purchase municipal securities issued by the borrowing political subdivisions. It is operated and managed under the control of the Industrial Commission.
