FARGO (AP) — The North Dakota Safety Council is offering a course aimed at helping people learn to drive in winter conditions.
KVLY-TV reported that the so-called slippery slope course will teach people how to drive on different road surfaces throughout the year.
Safety Council spokeswoman Serena Schmit said the course can help young drivers and those who have moved to North Dakota from other areas. It’s also designed to be a refresher course for experienced drivers.
The slippery slope course will be offered Jan. 14 in Grand Forks, Jan. 16 in Fargo, and Jan. 24 in Bismarck, Dickinson and Minot.
