A cold night shooting cost the Jimmie women Saturday night.
Jamestown College shot just 35 percent in a 72-61 loss to Montana Tech in Las Vegas.
The 11th-ranked Jimmies, who lost for just the second time in 15 games, made only 21 of their 60 shots. They finished 1-1 at the Las Vegas Shootout, which was played at Oasis Durango High School.
“We were just off. Offensively, defensively, we didn’t execute, but that’s not to take anything away from them. Give Tech credit, they played well and they deserved to win the game,” JC coach Greg Ulland said.
