Mark Hoge led the Jimmies with 17 points, Davon Thomas dropped in 16 points in the effort at Fultz Memorial Gymnasium in Phoenix. Taylor Newton was the only other Jimmie with double digits for points with 13.
JC (7-8) led Arizona Christian (8-1) 31 to 28 at the half, but Arizona Christian took the lead for good with 3:11 remaining in the second half.
The Jimmies play Arizona Christian again at 4 p.m. today.
