AAUW members celebrate group’s 78th anniversary
Recently the Jamestown Branch of the American Association of University Women celebrated its 78th anniversary. During the group’s November meeting, members celebrated by talking about their experiences of AAUW as well as learning more information about the history of the Jamestown Branch.

Recently the Jamestown Branch of the American Association of University Women celebrated its 78th anniversary. During the group’s November meeting, members celebrated by talking about their experiences of AAUW as well as learning more information about the history of the Jamestown Branch.
The Jamestown Branch of AAUW will be continuing its traditions in the new year by having a branch meeting with brunch at 10 a.m. Saturday at the James River Senior and Community Center, 502 10th Ave. SE. For $8.61, the attendees will be served egg bake, muffins, juice, coffee and fresh fruit. The speaker for this meeting will be the newly elected District 12 Rep. Jessica Haak, who will discuss issues to watch for in the upcoming legislative session.
