First Community Credit Union hosted a food and toy drive this holiday season for deserving families and organizations within the local area.

FCCU members, employees and community members were invited to participate in this event. People of all ages brought in new or slightly used, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items to the FCCU branch. FCCU has donated the items to the Salvation Army.

“The food and toy drive is a great way to encourage community involvement for such a great cause. We feel this is the least we can do to help make Christmas a happy one for children and their families in the community. After all, that is what the Christmas season is all about,” said Darin Finck, FCCU branch manager.

All of FCCU’s 14 branch locations around the state held food and toy drives, each supporting their own local organizations.
