North Star’s Sarah Hagler had a team-high 17 points in the loss.
The win propelled the Cardinals into the championship against defending Region 4 champion Lakota-Adams-Edmore, which took down Devils Lake’s JV team 48-31. The game is slated for 5:30 p.m. today and will be preceded by Devils Lake JV and North Star’s third-place game at 4 p.m.
Drayton-Valley-Edinberg downed Dakota Prairie 52-21, and Munich-Starkweather took care of Four Winds-Minnewaukan 60-38 to make the fifth-place game, which is set for 2:30 p.m. Dakota Prairie and FW-M meet for seventh at 1 p.m.
