The North Dakota Trade Office will host the annual State of the Global Economy Trade Talk on Jan. 9 at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo. Aryam Vazquez, one of Wells Fargo Bank’s leading international economists, will lead the discussion and provide economic insight into the current state of international business as 2013 begins.
“As globalization becomes reality for more North Dakota companies, it’s important to understand the state of the global economy and keep updated on a yearly basis,” said Dean Gorder, executive director of NDTO.
Vazquez travels to many of the markets he covers and analyzes the economic data to better understand those conditions affecting international trade and payment flows. During the State of the Global Economy Trade Talk, he will simplify his economic outlook and tailor the discussion to North Dakota companies.
The cost of the State of the Global Economy Trade Talk is $15 for NDTO members and $35 for others. Breakfast will be served. For more information or to register, visit www.ndto.com.
