National Guard band touring schools

FARGO (AP) — The North Dakota National Guard’s 188th Army Band is kicking off the new year with concerts across southeastern North Dakota.

FARGO (AP) — The North Dakota National Guard’s 188th Army Band is kicking off the new year with concerts across southeastern North Dakota.

Three ensembles from the band are performing in 15 schools in the region over three days, beginning Monday. It’s dubbed the “Music in Schools Tour.”

The 188th Army Band celebrated its 125th anniversary last year.
