Skaters compete at Minot event

The James River Figure Skating Club competed in the 24th annual Magic City Figure Skating Competition in Minot on Friday and Saturday. The skaters, who captured four first-place finishes, are coached by Mark Vasarhelyi.

Individual results

Emily Suckow (juvenile) — First in interpretation, third in Short Program and Artistic and fifth in Free Skate.

Christina Radi (preliminary) — First in Jumps, second in Survivor and Compulsory, fourth in Free Skate and fifth in Artistic.

Emma Bennett (preliminary) — First in Free Skate, third in Artistic and Jumps, fourth in Survivor and fifth in Compulsory.

Hannah Jorgenson (preliminary) — First in Spins, second in Free Skate and Artistic and fourth in Compulsory.

Cati Suckow (preliminary) — Second in Artistic, third in Free Skate and fifth in Compulsory.

Haley Sortland (pre-preliminary) — Second in free skate and sixth in Compulsory.
