Sommerdorf, Jacobson

Tawni Sommerdorf and Adam Jacobson, both Bismarck, N.D, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Don and Rae Sommerdorf, Jamestown, and Tim and Kim Jacobson, Fargo, N.D.

Tawni is a 2006 graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown, and attends Bismarck State College, Bismarck, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a CNA/CMA at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck.

Adam is a 2001 graduate of Shanley High School, Fargo, N.D., and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N.D., with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He is an assistant women’s basketball coach at University of Mary, Bismarck.

A Sept. 7 wedding is planned at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, followed by a reception and dance at Quality Inn, both Jamestown.
