CNA class scheduled Jan. 28

A CNA Skills Training Class is scheduled to begin on Jan. 28 at the James Valley Career and Technology Center in Jamestown.

This 18-hour curriculum is open to anyone 16 years of age or older interested in becoming a certified nurse’s assistant. The class teaches the basic hands-on skills needed to challenge that part of the CNA test. Some independent study is required to pass the written portion of the test. All materials needed for study are available.

The next class begins on Jan. 28 and runs each day from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 29, Jan. 31 and Feb. 4-5 and 7 with testing on Feb. 12. The cost of the class is $100.
