The Jamestown City Council took no action related to the water dispute with Stutsman Rural Water District after meeting for about an hour in executive session Thursday.

The City Council met with legal counsel regarding the ongoing disagreement over territorial issues near Jamestown Regional Medical Center and the location of the Titan Machinery building under construction in southwest Jamestown.

Mayor Katie Andersen said the City Council did not have any joint meetings with Stutsman Rural Water scheduled at this time. She said another city special meeting may be scheduled for Jan. 14 for more discussion of the issue.
