Coyote hunting tournament set

An event that bills itself as the largest two-day coyote hunting tournament in the Upper Midwest is being held this week in southwestern North Dakota.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — An event that bills itself as the largest two-day coyote hunting tournament in the Upper Midwest is being held this week in southwestern North Dakota.

The North Dakota Coyote Classic is Friday and Saturday, with check-in happening Thursday at the Quality Inn & Suites in Dickinson. More than $16,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded.

The tournament is in its 11th year.
