New Hope gets new building

New Hope Free Lutheran Church received something special for Christmas this year.

New Hope acquired what has been the Free Methodist Church at 407 Fourth St. SE, located at the corner of Fourth Avenue Southeast.

Members of the closing Free Methodist Church and its district conference wanted the building to continue as a place of worship, while New Hope members were praying for a facility.

As such, the transfer of ownership was considered a timely answer to prayer.

New Hope Free Lutheran Church will open its worship and ministry center after some updates are made this month.

New Hope currently meets for worship Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church located at the intersection of 12th Avenue and Fourth Street Northeast in Jamestown.

Anyone looking for a church home is invited.
