Old school in Fryburg, ND, up for sale again

FRYBURG, N.D. (AP) — The old school in the southwestern North Dakota town of Fryburg is up for sale again, but a company that paid $450,000 for it in 2011 still hopes to develop it for worker housing.
Energy Resource Group spokesman Marc Barra tells The Bismarck Tribune that he isn't backing away from his promise to the oil patch community that the facility will be occupied by workers for one client, rather than a mix of workers from various companies.
Barra says negotiations with a potential single client fell through, and the for-sale status hedge's the company's bets while Barra talks with other oil companies.
The Fryburg school was built in 1969, with a gymnasium added in 1984. The building was shuttered in 2000 because of declining student enrollment.
