No travel advised in northwest, northcentral North Dakota
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have issued a no-travel advisory to the northcentral and northwest regions of the state including the cities of Minot, Devils Lake, Williston, Crosby, Bowbells, Watford City, New Town and Stanley and surrounding areas due to snow, blowing snow, areas of scattered ice and areas of near zero visibility making driving hazardous. Conditions are such that motorists should not travel.

A travel alert remains in effect for the Dickinson, Bismarck, Jamestown, Valley City, Fargo, Wahpeton, Grand Forks and surrounding areas due to areas of scattered ice, snow, blowing snow and reduced visibility. Conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas, but should be advised that conditions could change rapidly in the evening hours. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.
