Storm hits weekend sports schedule hard

The blizzard conditions that swept through the area on Friday wiped out most athletic events.

All Jamestown High School events for the weekend were postponed and a handful already have been moved to different dates.

The Jamestown High School basketball games have been rescheduled. The Blue Jays will now host Williston on Feb. 23 and Dickinson Feb. 28.

The Blue Jay boys hockey team will host Minot on Jan. 29. The JHS girls game against Fargo North has not yet been rescheduled.

At the Sun’s press time, the Stutsman County Girls Basketball Tournament was scheduled to resume today at 3 p.m. at the Civic Center.
