Brady Rotert and Derek Dreher of West Fargo have signed with the Jamestown College men’s soccer team.
Rotert, a two-time all-state performer, was named the Packers MVP last season. He is the son of Kevin and Jill Rotert.
Dreher, a midfielder/striker, earned all-East Region honors this past season. He plans to study chemistry at JC.
Both players were members of the Packers 2010 state champion team, which included current Jimmies Jade Johnson and Austin Dillard. They played their club soccer for the West Fargo Soccer Club and South Dakota United.
“We are very excited that both these young men have decided to become Jimmies. Both of these young men are versatile athletes who impact the game in a positive manner,” said JC coach Phillip Bohn. “I am excited to start working with them as I expect they will both have a very positive impact on our program.”
The Jimmies are coming off their best season in which they won a school-record 16 games and advanced to the NAIA national tournament in Montgomery, Ala.
