FCCU promotes Brubakken
First Community Credit Union has recently named John Brubakken as its information technology technician.
First Community Credit Union has recently named John Brubakken as its information technology technician.
Brubakken will be responsible for supporting FCCU staff in the use of computer systems and to provide technical support for any problems that arrive. His duties will also include the setup and installation of new computers and equipment as well as perform the necessary updates and upgrades to keep the machines running smoothly. Prior to this full-time position, Brubakken worked part-time in the Information Technology Department. He will be located at Jamestown’s main office at 111 Ninth St. SW.
He received a degree in information technology from Jamestown College. Prior to his position with FCCU, he worked as a shift leader at Dairy Queen as well as a website developer for the Humane Society while attending Jamestown College.
“I look forward to my position with FCCU because not only do I get to stay in my hometown but I get to have a job in my field working with great people,” Brubakken said.
