Strasburg-Zeeland breaks into ‘B’ boys poll

Unbeaten Strasburg-Zeeland has played its way into the Class B boys basketball rankings.

The 10-0 Clippers went from unranked to the No. 9 spot in the latest top 10 and are the only Region 3 team in the rankings.

The top eight spots in the poll are identical to last week with Beulah the unanimous No. 1.

LaMoure-Litchville-Marion (9-2) and Maple Valley (6-2) got votes.

Napoleon holds steady at No. 3 in the girls poll, although the Imperials did suffer their first loss Monday night to Midkota. Maple Valley is sixth. Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock got votes in the poll.

The top four spots are unchanged from last week. Top-ranked Minot Bishop Ryan got 12 of the 13 first-place votes. No. 2 Grafton got the other.
