Bantam A wins opener in Fargo

Nick Muncy, Hunter Best, Seth Lind and Koby Donovan each scored goals in the opener as JVC defeated St. Boniface Seals of Winnipeg 4-2. Zach Hanson earned the victory in goal.

In Game 2, Donovan scored on an assist from Kelton Beedy in a 4-1 loss to West Fargo. Hanson stopped 34 shots.

The Southeast Blizzard of Manitoba edged JVC 6-5 on Saturday. Lind recorded a hat trick. Best had two goals and an assist. Beedy and Alex Gums also earned helpers. Hanson had 28 saves between the pipes.

In the final game Sunday, JVC fell to the Minot Wolves 7-1. Gage Thompson got the goal off an assist from Lind. Hanson was peppered with 46 shots, stopping 39.
