BISMARCK (AP) — The University of Mary has selected Greg Vetter as its new executive vice president and chief of staff.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that the 48-year-old finance and banking veteran has spent the past 10 years with American Bank Center, where he has been chief operating officer and regional president for Bismarck-Mandan.
The university board of trustees’ executive committee unanimously recommended Vetter’s appointment, effective Jan. 28.
The school said Vetter will serve as chief policy adviser to the university president and work closely with the director of athletics and the vice presidents of continuing and professional education, financial affairs and student development.
Vetter said his main goal is to help create a world-class organization that will impact young people’s lives for generations.
The position has been vacant for several years.
