Roaming Buffalo to meet Sunday

The Roaming Buffalo camping club will meet at 4 p.m. Jan. 20, at the Parks and Recreation’s main shop building. Newly elected officers will take over. They are President Sherry Mcguire, Vice President Tom Ravely and secretary/treasurer Larry and Joyce Kukla. Board members at large are: Dwight and Bonnie Herr, Larry and Joyce Kukla and Gary and Olive Eldevik.

In November, member Olive (Willey) Eldevik had a brain aneurysm. She had surgery and is now recovering and doing therapy. The members’ thoughts and prayers are with her family.

The club’s Christmas party was held Jan. 5 at the Knights of Columbus hall. Games were played, gifts were passed out and a meal was enjoyed.

Some members will attend the wintervention to be held in Bismarck on Jan. 18-19. A report will be given at the meeting.

The 2013 club dues are $5 and are due. Sharleen Boomgaarden was thanked for being the secretary/ treasurer for the past 18 years.
